It is the Day after Christmas, December 26, 2023
And the Wind has finally dropped!! It has been blowing over 20mph and some days up to 40mph for the last 3 weeks. Brutal weather when you are trying to take people out for a fun day of fishing! The few trips we have been out, the fishing was pretty good. Sailfish, some nice Mahi, and Blackfin Tuna, but for the average customer, it was just too rough. I’ve always said, that if your head is in a bucket, it doesn’t matter what you are catching, you are not having fun!!
The Week between Christmas and New Year
is traditionally the busiest week of the year and usually the only thing that can spoil it is bad weather. Fortunately, the wind has finally dropped off, the rain has stopped and I am looking forward to a good week of fishing. I still have some afternoons and New Yeas Eve available, but I should be fishing every day besides that.
Looking forward to a great week
of fishing and a good year in 2024!! at least now that the weather has finally dropped! I just hope it stays that way
