6 hr Trip Today
We went out deep, (about 1900 ft of water), but the weed lines are going away and the fishing out there is slowing down.
The current is still running hard to the east, (which is good), so it could change back any day
We went a long way offshore, but we finally got a few out there
Came back inshore at the end of the trip and got another Dolphin and a Black Fin Tuna!

July 8th, 2018
Mother Nature said “NO”
Just a few Thunderstorms around when we left the dock.
Usually, we can avoid them by going around to the north or south. It started out that way and we were just starting to catch some nice Mahi when they started to build up. I don’t mind the rain so much, and my customers can stay dry in the cabin, but the big “Sparks” have to be respected. It got the point where I couldn’t see an opening between the squalls to head for. This squall started out relatively small but built up as they can do. We were a couple miles away and the winds were blowing 30-35mph with LOTS of lightning.
Time to go!
No fish is worth the safety of my customers, so we came in early.
Not bad for a short day!
