We started out offshore looking for Dolphin. We didn’t find any, but we did hook a very large Blue Marlin. I didn’t get any pictures because I had to concentrate on driving the boat and backing down on the fish. We hooked it on a 30lb line and that is small for any Blue Marlin, especially this one. I’m not going to try to put weight on the fish. I have no doubt it was in the hundreds of pounds, but trying to give a weight would just be a guess and I don’t do that. It put on a great show just before it got off. The angler did a great job, the fish just got away……..but it was really cool to see anyway!!
